additional customs clearance costs, etc.
I bought a Canon lens via Ebay for €884,39, shipping was included, and there would only be customs clearance costs and VAT added. Afterwards, it turns out these costs are €268,05. If I had known this in advance, I could have bought a new one in the Netherlands for €100,- extra instead of a used one via Ebay. I think it is customary that in this case Ebay gives me an accurate estimate of the costs to be expected in advance BEFORE I buy the product.
