Customer gives a negative rating, with positive text?!?
As mentioned in the title, this is about the following issue.
Can this be deleted? Honestly, I haven’t submitted any requests yet, because in the past I always kind of "lost" with that. So I’m asking directly here :)

My neutral one wasn’t removed back then even though it’s similarly worded!

·2 weeks agoNot correct, it shouldn’t be the buyer who changes the rating; it’s eligible for deletion, and that’s why you don’t need to waste an appeal but eBay has to delete it because changing negative to positive comments is not allowed.
Nina already pointed to the seller portal though ‼️

·2 weeks agoBut he has to change it to positive. That’s possible. It’s not that incorrect either, and TE probably won’t keep burning through requests all the time. What would be worthy of deletion would be a positive rating with negative content for buyers. Here, the buyer can only change the color on request, and then the positive rating is shown just as it is now, only green. Why make it so complicated? 🤷

Just inform yourself better, it’s not allowed to leave negative ratings with positive comments, and just as little positive ratings with negative comments.

eBay deletes on request via the portal Nina mentioned; that’s all the eBay employee meant.
And a buyer doesn’t have to… they can.

Why delete this part and not the full review?

It now says “comment removed” for the rating there

·2 weeks agoWell, I’ve had something like that too, but eBay of course didn’t remove it even though it was clearly the buyer’s mistake. And the buyer didn’t respond to the request for a change.
