Hello everyone, I have a problem with a transaction and can’t get to a human eBay employee through the AI chat. It’s about the seller and transaction 257435806519. My original return reason was the item description being incorrect, in my view. The decisive factor was not the number of parts, but a detail the seller later added to the listing: “On 03/04/26, the seller added the following information:The helmet’s material thickness is 3mm” After my review, this exact detail did not apply to the helmet that was delivered. The refund was ultimately processed through eBay. In addition, the seller’s communication was problematic. When the refund was processed, I was insulted in the comment, literally called a moron. After that, the seller also submitted a request to revise feedback with the following message to me: “Are you serious, dude?! You were whining that, even though it was clearly shown in the pictures that only one glove and one shoulder pad are depicted, that’s exactly what arrived. Man, what’s wrong with you!? You also got your money back, so what kind of loser do you have to be to still leave negative feedback?” My original feedback was: “Item did not match the description. The seller stated the helmet material thickness as 3 mm, but the delivered item did not match that. The reversal was only handled through eBay Buyer Protection. The communication was unprofessional.” This negative feedback has since, for whatever reason, been removed. At the same time, however, there is still a positive feedback with insulting and demeaning text from the seller: “Unfortunately I can’t count and can’t look at pictures properly.” In my view, this is not a permissible factual review, but rather a demeaning workaround to the ban on negative seller feedback toward buyers. My questions: How do I get this positive feedback with insulting text reviewed and removed? How can I escalate the case outside the AI chat to a real eBay employee?
