I think this has only been the case relatively recently - but I can now only leave a review for 60 days (that's just 2 months) after the purchase. If I don't write a review right after buying, the seller gets an automatic positive review. I ordered a fixture and after 5 months it started to rust completely. Everywhere. Total junk. Then I wanted to review the item and only then realized that it wasn't even possible anymore. Why does eBay do that? Doesn't that completely distort a seller's quality rating? And as a buyer, that really makes me feel uneasy. After this experience, I would never buy this kind of item on eBay again. More like only trivial things like books or pens. I don't get it. What's the point? Especially since I'm sure that 95% of customers don't know that if the item doesn't last longer than 3 months, that is not reflected in the score at all.
