Das eBay-Community Rang-System
Hello dear community member,
As a member of the eBay community, you can participate in discussions, ask questions, and search for answers. To reward and make your activities visible, we have been working on improving our ranking system over the past few weeks.
As you use the community today, you may see notifications about the change to your community rank.
Your rank illustrates how helpful your community activity is compared to others.
Each rank in the community is displayed next to a user's name and indicates their activity in the community.
You can see your rank on your profile page as well as next to your name throughout the community. The ranks of other members appear in the same place in their profile.
The improved community ranks are now divided into three categories:
Passive Ranks are for members who sign into the community, read posts, and mark them as helpful, but do not perform actions like writing posts. The ranks classified as passive are:
Exploring |
Warming Up |
On the Starting Blocks |
Ready for Takeoff |
Active Ranks are awarded to members who perform actions in the community, such as starting a new topic, replying, accepting posts as solutions, marking posts as helpful, and receiving helpful marks. Above all, they are active members who actively engage in all forms of community life.
Earning badges in the community is a great way to improve your rank and thus show how much you contribute to the eBay community.
The ranks classified as active are:
In the Race |
On the Ball |
Committed |
Team Player |
In Top Form |
Top Talent |
Outstanding Talent |
Pro |
Champion |
Superstar |
Mentor Ranks are for our members who volunteer as mentors in the eBay community. They use their knowledge to support members in their actions on eBay. You can find more information about the mentor program here. Mentors can earn ranks by starting a new topic, replying, accepting posts as solutions, marking them as helpful, and receiving helpful marks, and of course, also generally being very active in the community. The ranks for mentors are:
Mentor |
Top Mentor |
Pro Mentor |
Genius Mentor |
Einstein Mentor |
Thank you for your continued commitment and for being part of the eBay community ❤️!
