Hello, glad you're here!
Just as diverse as the items on the eBay platform is our Community Team. With our different areas of focus, we create content, take care of the development of the community, and address the concerns of our eBay members. To do this, we work in close coordination with the various departments at eBay. Together, we work on improving our help offerings. We want to make customer service at eBay as easy and helpful as possible for you. We invite you to stay in our community and share your experiences with others.

Hello everyone! 🌷
I’m very happy to finally be able to officially introduce myself to you today too!
My name is Steffi and I’ve been part of eBay and the Community since March 2011. In fact, my story with eBay began a few years earlier – back then as an enthusiastic buyer. I’ll probably never forget my first purchase: in 2002, I won an auction for a Barbour wax jacket and – an rather unusual combo 😉 – a steam cleaner. Who would have thought that many years later eBay would become my professional home?
I originally come from the beautiful Allgäu region ⛰️🏔️. For my studies, I moved to Dortmund, where I lived for several years. As life sometimes goes, love eventually took me to Ireland. Today I’ve been living on the green island for almost 20 years already.🍀
My faithful companions in everyday life are my West Highland Terriers (Westies). I spend every free minute with them out in nature – whether on forest paths, by the coast, or simply on our daily walks. 🐾
In my free time, I like to make myself comfortable with a knitting project. 🧶 For me, that’s the perfect way to unwind and a wonderful way to switch off after a varied day. I also volunteer in animal welfare, foster dogs, and visit future adopters as part of pre-adoption checks to give the dogs the best possible start in their new home. 🐾
What I especially love about our Community is the mutual exchange. Here, people with very different experiences come together, help each other, and share their knowledge – that’s exactly what makes our Community so special to me. 🌷
Many of you may already know me from different areas of the Community. Together with my colleagues, I make sure that our Community runs smoothly and that it supports you as a go-to place for everything related to eBay and the Community in the best possible way. What’s especially close to my heart is taking in your ideas, wishes, and feedback and working with you to continuously develop our Community 🚀.
That’s why I’m always happy to connect with you – whether you have questions, suggestions, or new ideas.
Thank you for enriching our Community every day with your knowledge, your willingness to help, and your commitment.
I hope you continue to enjoy the Community. See you soon! 🌷

Also from me, a proper hello there! 👋
I'm Miriam and I've been with eBay since June 2018. I originally come from Austria, but for love I ended up on the green island a few years ago.
My biggest passion is horses, and here you can see my two treasures - an Icelandic horse and a Dartmoor pony. As you can imagine, my eBay purchase history currently has a lot of equipment for the two furry ones. "An expensive hobby," as my grandma used to say.
Some of you have probably already read something from me from time to time, since I've been covering Steffi's vacation leave ever since I started at eBay. Up to now, however, I was mainly responsible for Social Media. Since the beginning of May 2021, I can now get more involved in our eBay.de Community to specifically support private sellers here. I'm looking forward to the new tasks and the exciting projects that lie ahead of us. If you have any questions, I'm happy to help - feel free to mention me in the relevant topics 😉.
Here's to a wonderful time!
Miriam
