paying too much commission on eBay (scammed)
That's right, this is pure fraud, I buy something in euros and have to pay in British pounds, difference 23 euros. eBay does this itself!! Let's just call it eBay's business model, but it doesn't make sense!

An idea for ebay about sorting search results
Hello, You have the option to sort your found items: I need an item quickly now. It's listed all over eBay. Would it be possible to add something like fast delivery , or another description that could be used for that, as a sorting option? Would reporting it here help, or is there a way to pass such an idea directly on to eBay? Kind regards Rob

Internationaal verkopen: foutmelding Business Policies
Hallo iedereen, Ik wilde een adverentie aanmaken op ebay.co.uk en ebay.com. Hij geeft alleen nu dit aan: "You can't get started with business policies right now. We'd like to have you benefit from them right away, but we're introducing them gradually so the transition goes smoothly for everyone. Check the My eBay selling section periodically to find out when it's available to you." Alvast bedankt. Groetjes

Error with passport number in final step, post ad
Hi all, I’m a Dutch woman living in Spain. I’ve just created an account for selling vintage furniture. However, I don’t have an ID, only a passport. I can’t get through the last step because I get an error regarding the passport number. Can you help me out? I’ve tried both my NIE from Spain and my NL number (passport number) several times, but without success. Kind regards, Lisa

What is the point of eBay's fees?
I integrated my Shopify webshop with Ebay with 1000 products. I had to pay more than 400 euros in advertising costs for this. But do I have to pay this again every month? And then Ebay also takes 16% of my sales revenue per product sold. How do you guys do this? This is really very expensive and this way I’m only making a loss.

Was I scammed and what now? PayPal/eBay
Hello! I’d like some advice about a recent purchase via eBay from a seller in Lithuania. I made this sale on December 16 and paid right away via PayPal. A day later I got a message saying the package had been shipped. Unfortunately no tracking number on PayPal and no carrier information either. Anyway, the package was supposed to arrive between January 3 and January 17. Today is the first day, so technically. I should be patient, but I have a bad feeling about it. The seller got a (first) negative feedback a few days ago that says: Did not send the item or reply to my messages. And what do you think? I’m not getting any response to my messages either. On eBay it’s still too early to open a resolution. If I want to open a dispute with PayPal, PayPal says the seller is unable to respond and then asks whether I want PayPal to look into it. Since it’s only the 3rd, I don’t want to do that yet. They’ll probably just say: try again after the 17th. What should I do now? 1) his email address is listed on PayPal with a name that seems fake to me (because it’s not Lithuanian). Also a number with what seems to me like a Latvia area code instead of Lithuania. I could send an email there. 2) open a dispute with PayPal anyway and let them look into it; chances are they won’t get a response either, I think. 3) wait tensely.... 4) something else!

Price adjustment, is that allowed?
Because recently encountered some issues with our store listings, resulting in many listings showing prices not being updated when they were relisted. The price will cause a big loss and we have to ask for make up the difference. If you don‘t want, we will have to cancel the PFXGM4301TAD. Sorry for the problem again. Best regard

Accepted lower price proposal, but when paying I see the higher price!
I was offered an item for GBP 35.00, which is a discount because the original price was GBP 42.35. When I wanted to pay, the higher price was shown. The seller says they will only receive GBP 35.00, but I have to pay more (ex. VAT, ex shipping), the old higher price. That just isn’t right. In the attachments you can see 2 images. Image 1: here it says GBP 35.00 , but after clicking on "pay now" I get the second screen showing the old price. How can this be and how do I fix it?
