Didn't sell anything, still have to pay 40 euros to eBay
The item I had for sale on eBay had just been sold to someone else.
The buyer on eBay had already paid.
I immediately told him that the item had just been sold to someone else, and that he could get his money back from an escrow account at eBay
eBay is so complicated that neither I nor the buyer knew how we could report this to eBay.
I also have to pay 40 euros, I told eBay all this, but I still have to pay, and I can no longer sell anything on eBay

OP3 years agoI had previously gotten a reply in the email from Ebay saying that I didn't have to pay, after explaining.
But I keep getting reminders that I have to pay.
Replying to those emails isn't possible.
And I can't get in touch with Ebay anywhere.
So I can't sell anything anymore either.
So I guess I'll just stop with Ebay
Ebay is way too expensive anyway

·3 years agoYou had an item for sale on Ebay, a bidder placed a bid and won and paid for the item.
Then you also have to deliver that item.
You apparently sold it privately outside Ebay ("sold differently") and apparently that is outside Ebay's rules.
I don't think there is anything you can do about that
