The weather here has calmed down. It’s actually quite pleasant for once. I’ll be in the tri-border area in a month and I’m curious how it is there. ☺️ A little piece of home ☺️

We had a bit of rain around 11 p.m., but it was already over again.
Baltrum is actually completely car-free, except for the fire brigade and ambulances.
When you see the garbage collection or the suppliers driving around with their horse-drawn carts, it’s just brilliant, and the island really slows everything down.
Two more sleeps and then I’ll be there 😊

OP1 week agoToday it was stormy all day long.
Around 4 p.m. it got a bit dark and the rain came straight down, somewhere in the state of Brandenburg.
Now the clouds and the rain have passed and it's getting brighter again.
And @molfish : Baltrum is car-free.

Enjoy the air, so clear and so pure.
And if it should rain, which is rather rare, let the rain splash onto your face.
That saves water: the morning washing of the face could be skipped.

·1 week agoif that's the case..., I'm running out of advice, then take a Friesennerz with you just to be safe, because guarantee or warranty are completely excluded, after all the weather isn't a listing format on eBay 🤣

nice temperatures here too and a few short but heavy showers.
But it’s just never as warm here as in the rest of Germany.
