Subject: 💬 Welcome to the general eBay Q&A on 19/04/23 at 2:00 p.m.
Hello everyone and ❤️ welcome to the eBay Q&A session with the eBay Community Team.
Since we don't have a specific topic this week, please feel free to ask your general buying or selling questions here.
You’re also welcome to send me ( @steffi@ebay ) topics that should have their own Q&A session.
To help us answer your questions faster, we ask that you choose one question per post. Of course, you can write as many posts in the eBay Q&A session as you like - in fact, we want you to!
The Q&A session will remain open until 3:00 PM. After that, it will be closed to further questions. Of course, we will still make sure to answer any questions that may remain unanswered – please give us a little time for that, as we often need to ask other colleagues for support to get the correct answer for you.
To post your question, click Reply in the lower right corner of this post, enter your question, and click "Reply" between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
The format of the eBay Q&A session mirrors the format of our community discussion forums, where all posts appear chronologically. The Community Team answers each incoming question in that order and then quotes the original question in the respective reply. This quote and the answer appear later chronologically and therefore further down.
If you unfortunately missed the eBay Q&A session, we’d be happy if you posted your question directly in the Community, or simply waited for the next Q&A session*.
Kind regards,
Your eBay Community Team

·3 years agoGood day,
we have seen that some offers have an EPD number listed or a box with the heading "about this product".
How can you, so to speak, "qualify" an offer so that it gets this EPD?
Thanks
patrick@ebay
Hello @monica_nicoletti_ersatzteile ,
you can't qualify it yourself, the product labels are then automatically used from the catalog based on the item characteristics that are specified.
Product labels
Have you perhaps got the problem with an offer that it is not being recognized?
Best regards

·3 years agoHi, topic ratings 2,
in my seller account, I’ve automated the ratings so that they’re submitted automatically after payment by the buyer.
Is there a way to withdraw these ratings if the buyer cancels the purchase after paying and receives a refund?
Best regards from the Baltic Sea

Hello @petersmodellbahnstuebchen ,
have you already been to the Portal for seller inquiries and clicked on request help there?

·3 years agoHi,
we had the topic of displaying ratings in the purchase overview in the Q&A session on 29/03, to which Steffi later added the following comment:
Update:
Good morning @petersmodellbahnstuebchen , we want to streamline the purchase overview and have removed the information from this overview. You can find the information on who rated you in your ratings profile.
Ratings are optional and, since the change, we have not seen any impact on ratings. None the less, we are always pleased when you leave ratings and share your experiences.
In my opinion, the "streamlining" of the overview does not make working with Ebay easier, but only more cumbersome.
Before, I could see at a glance whether a seller had already rated me, now I have to laboriously search for it in the ratings profile. That's more something for people with too much time on their hands. Consequence: As a buyer, I will no longer leave any ratings in the future.
Best regards from the Baltic Sea
Peter

Hello @petersmodellbahnstuebchen ,
even if you don't have a direct question or if it has already been answered before. I can gladly also let you know that you can share your feedback / criticism directly with the responsible colleagues of ours. Simply when you are in the purchase overview, on the right-hand side is "Your opinion". There you can provide detailed feedback about concerns regarding changes to My eBay, and I personally know that the team appreciates it.
Best regards

·3 years agoHello
Why, as of today, is there an ADDITIONAL customer address on the invoices on the far right labeled "Buyer’s registration address"? In addition to the "delivery address + sender address"...
Regards
patrick@ebay
Hello @kfzteileosthessen ,
I’d be happy to discuss this once, so I’d like to ask you to be patient a little longer.
Best regards
Patrick

Hello @kfzteileosthessen ,
my tech colleagues are asking whether you can share a screenshot with us showing where this appears? Please make sure that no data is shared that is not public. They couldn't find such a note on the eBay invoice. If needed, you're also welcome to share additional info that could help.
Best regards
Patrick

Thank you very much @kfzteileosthessen ,
I removed the invoice just to be safe, since everything was still visible after all.
But now we have it and you don't need to share it again.
Best regards
Patrick
