💬 Welcome to the general eBay Q&A session on 03/05/23 at 2:00 PM
Hello everyone and ❤️welcome to the eBay Q&A session with the eBay Community Team.
Since we don’t have a specific topic this week, please feel free to post your general buying or selling questions here.
You're also welcome to send me topics that should get a whole Q&A session.
To help us answer your questions faster, we ask that you choose one question per post. Of course, you can write as many posts in the eBay Q&A session as you like - in fact, we want you to!
The Q&A session will remain open until 3:00 p.m. After that, it will be closed for further questions. Of course, we will continue to make sure that all questions that may still be unanswered are answered – please give us some time for that, as we often have to ask other colleagues for support to get the correct answer for you.
To publish your question, click Reply in the lower right corner of this post, enter your question, and click "Reply" between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The format of the eBay Q&A session reflects the format of our community discussion forums, in which all posts appear chronologically. The Community Team answers each incoming question in that order and then quotes the original question in the respective reply. This quote and the reply appear later chronologically and thus further down.
If you unfortunately missed the eBay Q&A session, we’d be happy if you posted your question directly in the community, or simply wait until the next Q&A session*.
Kind regards,
Your eBay Community Team

·3 years agoHello Steffi
Some time ago, Miriam confirmed in a thread that shipping and delivery by PRIO letter are recognized by eBay, even though Deutsche Post/DHL does not provide a direct or official delivery confirmation for the recipient. The last scan of the shipment already takes place at the
upstream sorting center!
According to Miriam, it should be enough as proof of shipping if the seller lodges the letter at an authorized branch and, in the event of a buyer claiming non-receipt, presents the posting receipt and a photo of the front of the letter, on which the name and tracking number are clearly visible.
Unfortunately, in recent times questioners have appeared in the community who were apparently given different information by customer service
regarding recognition, which has led to general confusion.
In these cases, was the customer service statement simply not correct, or has eBay changed something again regarding recognition?

Hello @dmary56, I'll check right away!
steffi@ebay
@dmary56, Miriam's statement is correct, since we can see delivery based on the number (on the receipt).
