The format of the eBay Q&A session mirrors the format of our community discussion forums, where all posts appear chronologically. If I enter a tracking number, e.g. for a shipment (DHL small parcel international with tracking) to Norway and insert the tracking number and specify DHL as the shipping company, and then later click on the tracking number and want to track the shipment, the Deutsche Post page opens and of course the shipment cannot be tracked there!

With a shipment (DHL small parcel with tracking) to an EU country, that works and I get to DHL tracking.

Neither shipping label was created via eBay, because even for the countries where it is available, it has been made far too complicated and messy there. That’s why I also couldn’t frank the small parcel for an EU country via eBay, although dimensions and weight were entered! None of the DHL “offers” were selectable! This can’t go on like this!

What’s going on again?

Hello @perfect-sally and nice that you're joining in today and keeping us company🙂. Currently, shipping labels can only be created within the EU via the eBay shipping platform.

Could you please send me an order number where the postage did not work through eBay? We'd be happy to look into it and get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks very much for the helpful tip!

Hello @perfect-sally! In addition to my previous answer, I can let you know that our product teams are aware that some DHL options for shipping within the EU are currently greyed out when buying a label through eBay if the corresponding dimensions have not yet been entered. However, as soon as you enter dimensions from 11 x 15 x 1 cm, the international DHL services can be selected again. An optimization is being worked on 👍.

Regarding the international tracking of sold items, which does not redirect you to the DHL website but to Deutsche Post: This is being checked, thank you very much for letting us know!

I don't understand it either, there's nothing better than spending the great 60 minutes with us during the Q&A session. The weather at around 30 degrees isn't exactly the best either. So, incomprehensible 🤔
