💬 Welcome to the general eBay Q&A session on 23/11/22 at 2:00 p.m.
Hello everyone and ❤️welcome to the eBay Q&A session with the eBay Community Team.
Since we don't have a specific topic this week, please don't hesitate to post your general buying or selling questions here.
You're also welcome to send me topics you'd like to see covered in a full Q&A session.
To help us answer your questions faster, we ask that you choose one question per post. Of course, you can write as many posts in the eBay Q&A session as you like - we actually encourage it!
The Q&A session remains open until 3:00 p.m. After that, it will be closed to further questions. Of course, we will still continue to make sure all questions that may still be unanswered are addressed - please allow us some time for that, as we often have to ask other colleagues for support to get the correct answer for you.
To post your question, click Reply in the lower right corner of this post, enter your question, and click "Reply" between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The format of the eBay Q&A session reflects the format of our community discussion forums, where all posts appear chronologically. The Community Team answers each incoming question in that order and then quotes the original question in the respective reply. This quote and the answer appear later in chronological order and therefore further down.
If you unfortunately missed the eBay Q&A session, we’d be happy if you posted your question directly in the Community or simply waited until the next Q&A session.
Best regards,
Your eBay Community Team

·3 years agoHello, I have a fairly general question about the promotional campaigns from eBay that run via the homepage and the header bar on the eBay site. How can one get more involved in these campaigns? We are already signed up for the growth portal and from time to time we can also take part in the campaigns, but not really often. Especially now in relation to Black Friday or Cyber Week, it is really a shame that we don't have any way to do so.
Best regards, Laura

Hello @mobilepartner-hamburg ,
various factors have to line up, e.g. what is being offered and what the inventory is, and whether it fits the respective promotion. As a rule, eBay selects the sellers, so there is for example no page where you can proactively apply or sign up for Black Friday or Cyber Week. Regarding WOW! offers, this page may help you: Create WOW! offers and coupons via the growth portal
Best regards

·3 years agoHi, I have a question: back when I was new to eBay, I think I got a yellow magnetic eBay star for 10 sales! Now I already have well over 100 ratings. Do these magnetic stars still exist, and if so, what stats do you need for one? Best regards, I’m asking for a reply!
miriam@ebay
Hi @1hallo01 and thanks for your question! It’s great that those star magnets were so well received back then and that you still like remembering getting your first star 🤗.
Unfortunately, these feedback stars are no longer available today. Shipping them to our members was no longer feasible at a certain point because of the rapid growth of the eBay marketplace. This promotion was only intended for a limited period of time.
We’ll share your feedback internally with a larger group again at the next opportunity 🙂.
Best regards
Miriam
