I ordered a phone and selected delivery to a pickup point. But the seller sent it with UPS. I contacted the seller via eBay, and afterward he told me that it was currently impossible for him to use DHL. He asked for my address and sent the phone again with UPS. Unfortunately, the delivery was not necessary and the phone was sent back to the seller.
Since then, the seller has not replied to me. I reported that I have not received the item, and the seller only confirmed that the phone is back with him but did not do anything else. The option to involve eBay is missing and I do not know what to do.

unfortunately, it no longer falls under buyer protection, as it has been too long. The purchase was on 28/04 and on 02/05 delivery was attempted several times. Why was this only complained about now on June 14? Either your seller will ship again to you or can refund you. But the deadlines for buyer protection have unfortunately already been exceeded.

does this EU regulation on general product safety, which applies from Dec. 2024, also affect sellers of used vehicle parts who, like us, only sell within Germany.

As far as I know, used goods are also covered as soon as they are sold to a consumer and can be used; whether that is also the case for car parts, I can’t say. I’d be happy to pass your question on, though, and would update the answer afterward.

I also have a question about the EU regulation announced in the seller news for December 2024.
How do I deal with products (model-making category),
that a private seller made for himself and is now liquidating his collection?
that a commercial seller produces in small batches?
Am I supposed to include in all listings
? In some cases I don't even know them (private) or they are my trade secret (commercial).
