Unknown Google ad for our eBay listing with incorrect shipping information

Hello everyone,
we currently have a somewhat strange problem and would like to know whether other sellers have experienced this too.
A customer clicked on one of our eBay listings via a Google ad. In the ad, our item was advertised as “free shipping.” In fact, however, shipping costs are stored in our eBay listing, and these were also displayed and calculated correctly during the ordering process.
According to our research, the ad apparently comes from Price Ninja or a price comparison portal and was not placed by us. The customer is now holding us responsible for the differing shipping cost information.
We have already contacted Price Ninja, but have not received a response so far. Unfortunately, eBay support was also unable to help us and referred us to Price Ninja.
So our questions are:
- Has anyone had similar experiences with Price Ninja or other price comparison portals?
- Is there a way to stop or have corrected such third-party ads for your own eBay listings?
- Does anyone know a direct contact at eBay or Price Ninja for such cases?

·2 months agoSince eBay pays "Price Ninja" money (commission), EBAY is your point of contact.
EBAY is sending the data incorrectly to "Price Ninja" ... or rather, the data is being read incorrectly, but that should not be your problem.
The "customer service" person you get on the line has no idea what you're talking about .... best to call again and have them transferred to the right department, don't let them brush you off !
