Help!! Discrepancies between advertising costs and sales on eBay!!
Summary: The discussion title suggests that kaufmomente needs help with discrepancies between advertising costs and revenue on eBay. Several participants, including bootyooty, vera@ebay and gebraucht-ist-gut, take part in the discussion, although no specific content from the posts is provided.
Liebe Community,

·4 months agoHello @kaufmomente ,
one more tip:
Then also invest a bit of time in the topic of GPSR.
I don't see any data about that in the listings at all.
Could potentially end badly, as there is a lot of competition with the same items out there.

·4 months agoHello @kaufmomente ,
many thanks for your post.
I’m stepping in here for @nina@ebay.
In campaign C172, you can see under Performance that €2.13 was charged for 15/04/2026. What you need to know about these values is that they are the fees incurred on the respective day, here 15/4/2026. In addition, the amounts are net. This brings us to €5.25 for 15/04/2026.
The sales report, however, reflects your money movements in the Payments account, so only the bookings. These are gross on the one hand, and on the other hand the premium ad fees are not calculated on the day they occur.
Here you then have to go to all transactions under Payments and open them, and if you then filter by 15/04/2026, you will also arrive at €12.51 there. There, click on Ads to the right next to the ad fee. Now you can see that this premium ad fee was incurred “usually” for the previous day. The ROAS value shown for the respective campaign is therefore correct.
Kind regards
Vera

OP4 months agoHello @vera@ebay
First of all, thank you so much for your time and your detailed feedback!
I’d like to apologize in advance if I’m asking a bit too much — but it’s really important to me to understand this correctly so I can assess how my business is actually doing.
If I understood you correctly:
Have I understood that correctly so far?
From that, I would conclude:
So: if the ad overview for April shows a total of, for example, €500, then the invoice should be around €500 plus VAT (with minor deviations of a few euros). Is that correct?
My last question:
Thank you again for your patience and support! Also thanks to @bootyooty for the tags!

OP4 months agoHi @bootyooty
thanks so much for your help and for tagging Verena too.
Unfortunately I still haven’t received any response, and as you can see, no one has replied in the thread either.
Do you possibly still have a plan B or another idea of who I could reach out to?
