From May 30, 2025: Changes to the policy on drugs and drug paraphernalia
Dear sellers,
Starting on May 30, 2025, changes to our eBay policy on illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and drug-like substances will take effect.
Products that can be misused as drugs or drug-like substances may not be listed or sold on eBay.
What’s changing
The sale of nitrous oxide (N2O), also known as laughing gas, including N2O cartridges for whipped cream dispensers and whipped cream dispensers themselves, is no longer generally allowed on eBay, even if the listing does not include any indication of misuse as a drug.
Note: The sale of N2O in the automotive sector is still allowed.
Next steps
If you sell this type of product, you may no longer list it on eBay. We recommend ending your listings before the new policy takes effect. Listings that do not comply with our policies may be removed.
Our policy on illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia helps keep our marketplace safe for all users and ensures that everyone complies with laws and regulations. Please read our policies before listing an item on eBay.
Thank you for your support!
Best regards
Your eBay Team
