Current situation in Ukraine: What we are doing now
Dear sellers,
like the rest of the world, we are also shocked by the events of the past few weeks. We are following them with concern and, as a company and employees, stand in solidarity with Ukraine. The Ukrainian population urgently needs humanitarian aid. That is why, as a company and as a global eBay team, we support organizations that are helping on the ground.

eBay Europe has donated 500,000 euros to the Red Cross.

In addition, the eBay Foundation will match all donations from our employees to organizations helping people in Ukraine, doubling them.

Our “eBay for Charity” team is currently supporting numerous initiatives that sell items through our marketplace and donate the proceeds from sales.

In some markets, we also offer our customers the option to 'Donate at checkout’. eBay will match part of these contributions. Unfortunately, this functionality is not available in Germany.
- We use the reach of our platform to draw customers' attention to donation options. Through a banner on our homepage, we link to this Landing Page.
Of course, we are also standing by eBay sellers from Ukraine. As a first step, we are waiving all selling fees and protecting them from disadvantages for late deliveries and negative feedback. Since major shipping companies have suspended deliveries to Ukraine and Russia until further notice, we are also temporarily suspending most transactions. We will continue to review our policies and the availability of our services and change them if necessary, depending on how the situation develops. Current information can be found here.
Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this crisis, and we hope that our actions as a company will help provide the necessary humanitarian aid.
