in our latest podcast, our podcasters David and Tino talk with Torben Schwanke from the Product Engagement Team about the new e-learning platform eBay Academy. Hardly anyone knows the different levels of selling on our marketplace as well as he does: from getting started on eBay, through building an online business with your own eBay shop, all the way to a major business worldwide. He knows the needs of sellers and understands that they can’t always be met just with help pages. That’s why, together with many specialists, he launched the intuitive and easy-to-understand e-learning platform eBay Academy.
Here, sellers can complete free interactive online courses that are tailored entirely to their business size. What is learned in the approximately 15-minute courses is then checked at the end with a short knowledge quiz. And then it’s on to the next course. Sellers choose courses on specific topics that interest them based entirely on their needs. It never gets boring. Many videos illustrate the respective topic, and small interactive multiple-choice sections help deepen what has been learned.
The learning platform is set to continue expanding in the future. Right now, it mainly helps sellers set up their eBay account optimally, create top listings with our tools, comply with legal requirements, make eBay listings even more visible with the help of marketing tools, and build a customer base.
