Who does the EU Common Charger Directive apply to?
The directive applies to all commercial sellers offering certain electronic products, e.g.
The directive applies to products that were first placed on the market in the EU or Northern Ireland since December 28, 2024. For laptops, the directive applies from April 28, 2026.
