The world of collectors: Trading Cards
Dear sellers,
are you familiar with trading cards? What started as a passion for collecting that delights many fans worldwide has long since become a lucrative market. Whether Trading Card Games like Pokémon or sports trading cards around football, basketball, or American football: even on eBay, a lively trade has developed around these popular collectibles.
But how does the trading card business work? And are trading cards also suitable as an investment? For this, we invited two experts (and passionate collectors) to the show: from the eBay team, Tobias Körner is joining us, Senior Category Manager for Collectibles. Also Helge Veit, who has successfully sold trading cards on eBay since 2015.
Together with eBay as the main sponsor, Helge also organizes the Munich Card Show, a Trading Cards Convention that will take place on 12 November 2022 in Munich.
