eBay.ch Update to the Terms of Use for payment processing
Dear sellers,
We would like to inform you about the new version of our Terms and Conditions for Payment Processing. This new version will take effect on September 23, 2024.
We have updated the payment processing terms to present the payment services we provide to you more clearly. Among other things, we have made the provisions on registration more precise and transparent, and in the section on the use of payment processing we have stated which eBay company is the provider of seller protection. In addition, we have revised the provisions in Part III.7 concerning the payment methods direct debit, purchase on invoice, and installment payment as a whole and made them clearer, without any substantive changes being associated with this.
If you agree to the changes, you do not need to do anything else. If you, as a consumer, do not agree to the proposed changes, you may reject them at any time before September 23, 2024 by notifying us in text form or terminate the agreement on payment processing free of charge and without notice. This can be done, for example, by email or by contacting customer service. Otherwise, your consent to the changes will be deemed granted.
