eBay.ch Important information about shipments to Ukraine and Russia
Due to the events in Ukraine, all major shipping companies have suspended deliveries to and from Ukraine as well as to Russia.
Since there is no possibility of shipping to Ukraine or Russia, buyers from these countries are currently unable to purchase items on ebay.ch. This applies until the shipping companies can once again ensure stable and secure deliveries.
If your orders/shipments are currently on their way to Ukraine or Russia, you must expect that they cannot be delivered and will be returned to you. Please use tracking to regularly check the status of your orders. If your business is affected by the delivery difficulties, eBay will automatically protect your service status for the following defects:
- Late shipment
- "Item not received" cases due to delayed deliveries
- Defects due to cancelled transactions
- Neutral or negative feedback related to these transactions
These protection measures for sellers will be applied retroactively to all shipments to Ukraine and Russia as of February 21, 2022.
eBay continues to work closely with shipping companies and authorities to protect sellers and buyers worldwide and to ensure compliance with all applicable sanctions and regulations.
