We are continuously looking for new ways to draw more attention to your listings — on our marketplace as well as outside of eBay.
As of now, Facebook Marketplace is part of our growing list of channels where your eBay listings may appear. The new collaboration starts this week:
As part of a pilot project, selected eBay listings will appear on Facebook Marketplace: in Germany, France, and the United States.
You don’t need to do anything else. Simply list items on eBay as usual. This way, you can take advantage of increased visibility and have the chance to reach a new audience of potential buyers through Facebook Marketplace. The entire process, from product inquiry to payment processing, continues to take place securely through eBay. That means your transactions, purchase details, and seller protection remain unchanged.
We are working to increase the number of eBay listings that can appear on Facebook Marketplace, giving you more opportunities — stay tuned for more updates.

If interested buyers want to purchase an eBay listing through Facebook Marketplace, they will be redirected to eBay. There, they complete their purchase and go through the same steps as on eBay.de. These purchases are covered by eBay buyer protection as well as all applicable eBay policies and safeguards.
Which categories will be represented on Facebook Marketplace?
Listings from a wide range of categories will be shown on Facebook Marketplace, based on factors such as shopping trends and listing quality.
Will my items only be shown to potential buyers in my area?
Facebook Marketplace displays both local items and items that are shipped. This means your eBay listings may also be shown to potential buyers who are not nearby. This depends on your shipping settings on eBay.
