New item attribute “Organizer price/original price” when selling tickets on eBay.de
Dear sellers,
effective immediately, when selling tickets in different categories, you should specify the new item attribute price set by the event organizer/original price . From April 20, this information will be mandatory in some categories. Offers “Valid until revoked” must include the new item attribute by May 30, 2023, if it is mandatory in the offer category.
With this change, we are complying with the legal requirement at eBay to inform buyers whether, and if so in what amount, the organizer has set a price for the purchase of admission tickets. eBay may therefore only allow sellers such offers if they provide the required price information when selling tickets or state that no such price has been set.
As of May 30, 2023, eBay listings without the item attribute in categories where the information is mandatory will be ended. Offers “Valid until revoked” without this item attribute will also be ended on May 30, 2023.
If you use third-party tools to manage your listings, we recommend working with your third-party provider to add the missing information to your listings accordingly.
