PRIO additional service for Deutsche Post letters no longer available from January 1, 2025
Dear sellers,
Deutsche Post will no longer offer the PRIO additional service for letters starting January 1, 2025. At the same time, the delivery time for Deutsche Post standard letters will also be extended by at least one day.
Please edit your active eBay listings in which you offer PRIO as an additional service for Deutsche Post letters. Change both the shipping service and the shipping costs.

Starting January 1, 2025, you may charge your buyers excessive shipping fees if you do not adjust the shipping option and sell your item with Deutsche Post letter PRIO.
If you still want to enjoy eBay seller protection, offer Deutsche Post letter with basic tracking instead. The prerequisite for this is that you buy the shipping label on our eBay shipping platform.
When you purchase the shipping label from Deutsche Post, it is important that it also has the matrix code. Please note that eBay does not grant seller protection when these shipping labels are used. [Updated: 03/01/2025]
PRIO labels already purchased can still be used after the turn of the year. However, the letters will be processed and delivered without this additional service starting January 1, 2025.
