September 2022: Current changes to article attributes and the category structure (DE, AT, CH)
Dear sellers,
We are currently updating some of our item specifics and categories. In doing so, we want to improve the long-term discoverability of your listings on eBay and in external search engines.
That is why you will see changes in these categories starting today:
Collectibles & Curios: Collectible Figures & Accessories, Pins & Buttons
Furniture & Living: Decoration
Cars & Motorcycles: Parts
During the update, the visibility of your listings in the affected categories may be temporarily impaired. Individual item specifics may be renamed or certain listings may be moved to other categories. In the short term, individual listings may also be excluded from search.
We recommend that once the updates are complete, you check your listings in the categories mentioned above. This will let you know whether your listings are affected by the changes. Please find out about the changes to the category structure.
Although the changes involve extra effort, they will help you gain more visibility in the long term and increase your sales opportunities.
If there are any updates on the affected categories and listings, we will keep you here in the Community section up to date.
