From an overflowing wardrobe to her own label: Lisa’s business success on eBay
Dear sellers,
At just 22 years old, Lisa Samhammer founded her company Second Life Fashion in 2016. The founder’s story has a lot to it. It shows how courage and determination, as well as support from eBay, can move a business forward.
What began with spontaneously clearing out the wardrobe became the starting point for Lisa Samhammer’s own business. Her first private sales gradually developed into a growing business for pre-loved fashion – supported by the eBay Rising Stars program.
“eBay was the perfect starting point for me: straightforward, without major investments and with huge reach,” says Lisa. Today, she generates a large part of her revenue through eBay, sells internationally and uses tools that make her day-to-day work easier. Through her story, she wants to encourage other women to take the leap into e-commerce.
