Additional visibility for your eBay shop on the item page
Dear business sellers,
Your eBay Shop is a place where you can showcase your listings, communicate with buyers, and further grow your business. To strengthen your presence even more, we’ve made some changes on the item page. Now buyers can find your Shop even faster.
At a glance:
- We’re removing the frame information for the desktop version of the item page, as it gets little attention.
- The item page gets a new design that lets you make your presence even more appealing to buyers.
In detail:
The new design on the item page gives your eBay Shop additional visibility. This lets you draw more buyers’ attention to your listing and your positive ratings.
- More prominent branding
o At the top of the page, next to the listing title, you can now see seller name and feedback. This change already applies to the mobile website and will be rolled out to the app and the desktop version in the coming months.
o The prominent placement of seller information at the top of the desktop version of the item page now also applies to the mobile website and the eBay app.
o Your Shop logo will be shown in the Shop categories module (more on that below).
o If a buyer enters your Shop name in the search field, the entry points to your Shop will now also be shown in search autocomplete.
- Shop categories module
At the end of March, we’ll add a module that includes up to 9 Shop categories – the mobile view and the app will follow after the desktop version. The module lets buyers browse through all your categories. Initially, only sellers who have set up the frame information will have access – later, the remaining sellers will follow.
- Newsletter & buyer groups
Starting in March, you can increase your reach with buyer groups for your Shop newsletter. These groups are initially based on factors like “previous purchases” and will be expanded step by step. More about eBay Shop newsletters
