We are updating the Payment Terms
At eBay, we strive to make our policies clear and our services user-friendly. We are writing to let you know that we are going to update our Payment Terms effective 23 September 2024. We are revising the Payment Terms to better describe the payment services we offer you. As part of this revision, we have specified the provision relating to seller onboarding to increase transparency and clarified which eBay company provides seller protection in the section on the use of Payment Services. In addition, we have revised and clarified the provisions in Part III.7. regarding payment methods, invoicing, installment payments and direct debit, without changing the rules as such.
If you agree to the changes, you do not need to do anything else. If you, as a consumer, do not agree to the proposed changes, you may reject them at any time before 23 September 2024 by informing us of this in text form (e.g. by email) or by terminating the payment processing agreement free of charge and without notice. You can do this, for example, by emailing us or by contacting our customer service. Otherwise, your consent to the changes will be deemed to have been given.
