A simpler way to add information about objects with hazardous substances.
If you sell items in the EU or the United Kingdom that contain hazardous substances, you are legally required to list all hazardous characteristics in those listings. You can find this information on the item’s label.
We’ve developed a simpler way to add this information to your listings. You can now choose from a number of precompiled pictograms and statements. You can then add this information in the Regulations section when you create or revise a listing for an item that contains hazardous material. On our help page, you can see which items this applies to.
Make sure your listings comply with these regulations and eBay’s policy on hazardous materials.
