With membership in the eBay Plus program, as a buyer you have the right to return items to the seller free of charge, even if you would otherwise have to bear the return shipping costs. According to section 2.1 of the membership terms, however, “excessively frequent free returns within eBay Plus that are more than 50% above the average return rate of all eBay Plus members” are excluded from this right of return. Where can one find an exact numerical figure for what the mentioned “average return rate of all eBay Plus members” is currently, and what one must therefore understand by “excessively frequent free returns”?
