I can't use my eBay credit.
Summary: r1****d1 reports that they are having problems using their eBay credit for purchases because the credit field stays greyed out at checkout. Although they contacted customer support, they did not get a solution. perfect-sally explains that not all items can be paid for with credit, and r1****d1 confirms that the problem occurs with all purchases in Germany. trzmiel58 has had similar experiences, being unable to use the credit in full and always having to pay a small amount with PayPal. I have eBay credit. When I buy an item, I want to pay with my eBay credit. When I click on my eBay credit, the field stays gray and it does when I pay too. So I can't pay. I click on PayPal, then I can pay. I called customer service yesterday and told them about it. I was told that this would be forwarded and that I would either get a message today or be called. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened. Is it only happening to me, or to you guys too? What can or should I do? What's going wrong here? I'll call customer service again tomorrow. If I'm not helped here, I'll only sell for the rest of this year and then I'm out. This is such a disgrace with eBay.

For 2 days now, I haven't been able to pay the full item price with my balance. I always have to pay at least €0.01 with PayPal. I've tried it with different items. It doesn't work.
For example, one item costs €10.99. My balance is €12.00. I can't pay the full amount of €10.99 with the balance.
The button “Buy with eEbay balance” is greyed out.
But €10.98 with balance and €0.01 with PayPal works. I tried it on two different PCs, with Windows 10 and Windows 11, as well as with the Chrome and Edge browsers. The error still persists. Payment not possible. However, it works with my smartphone and the Ebay app. Very well. No malfunctions. I have already reported the problem to Ebay. No response.
From experience, it takes a few months until it gets fixed. Very unfortunate.

OP1 week agoI mostly shop in Germany. For all the items I bought, it doesn't work.

OP1 week agoThen the eBay credit would have to be removed again as a programmer ( EBAYE ). Then it would be fun again.
