could you be a bit more specific? Where exactly does it occur? I'm guessing you mean this area?
We had this topic about that: Some posts with recent replies are not visible in search under "Discussion" unfortunately it's a Khoros bug that under Community activity the indexing is sometimes displayed incorrectly, which means the times are not always in the correct order.

As for my concern......I have to say upfront, I have no idea about technology.....indexing? No idea.....
In the discussions section, all sorts of topics appear.
Before, it was the case that the topics in which new posts were written moved up. That was no longer the case for a while. That seems to be fixed now.
But what still doesn't work is the chronological order within the individual threads.
An example:

Up to message 8, everything is fine, but then message 9, created on 05/01 at 7:41 p.m., followed by message 10, created on 05/01 at 1:47 p.m.
And it's like that in many threads.
Previously, when I clicked on a topic, I would land at the point where I had stopped reading and could then read everything newly added.
Now I end up somewhere.......the time sequence is all mixed up.
I hope you can understand where the problem lies.

That’s fine, though, since it’s a direct reply to the EP.
If someone replies to a post later, it naturally appears below the post the reply refers to (and not all the way at the bottom).
That wasn’t the case in the old forum and this change took a bit of getting used to.
However, it also makes it harder to find the latest reply if it doesn’t refer directly to the EP and is shown at the bottom, but somewhere in the middle.

actually, it is normally set to Elders, but you can change the grouping.

To me, it reads like this:
Posts 6, 7, 8 and 9 are replies to post 5.
That’s why I see them indented as well.
Post 10 refers directly to the original post, so it starts at the left margin again.

you had grouping turned on in your layout settings, that’s where the replies are bundled together when they relate to each other.

by the way, a tip: you can e.g. set 20 to 50 or higher, then you have to page less and just scroll down, because more replies are shown on one page 😉
