... that some of the - most helpful community authors here - might maybe take a single day off a year, or shine here for a single day by not really commenting on EVERY post here.
I know, this wish is pure utopia.

·2 years agoHonestly, I wouldn't want to go without a single member of this round for a day, and I also regret that many, far too many, are no longer here or are allowed to be here.
It's already gotten pretty quiet anyway when I think about what used to go on in the Ebay forum, even deathly quiet by comparison.

Hello @Anonymous! I moved your post to the designated area earlier and have been following your exchange here ever since. It’s important to me to briefly respond to your statement on behalf of eBay Community Support; I suspect you were expecting that too.
A lively community thrives on active exchange and a diversity of opinions. We want everyone involved with eBay to be able to share their experiences in our community and support one another (of course, as always, in compliance with our netiquette).
Sometimes one might think that some contributors hardly ever take a break. But it shouldn’t be forgotten that these members are also referred to as “helpful” because their contributions are valued by the community and regarded as worthwhile. This runs counter to your wish that they be less present.
As long as the posts are constructive and in the spirit of the community, we should all appreciate and support the effort and time these members voluntarily and without pay invest in helping others. We also warmly invite you, @Anonymous, at this point to get even more involved in topics if you’d like to contribute something meaningful 🤗.

There, “normal” people sacrifice their free time to help others.
I’m glad there are still helpers like this.
I myself don’t have such big problems as some others,
but it’s nice when help is given here.
A little gratitude would be better here than your grumbling !!
