A suggestion to make us laugh a bit here—what do you think of it? :-)

Hello everyone

First of all, this is about a suggestion and not about a complaint or grievance😁

@steffi@ebay , @miriam@ebay , @patrick@ebay I'll bring you in on this too if that's okay ?

Since a lot of things here are unfortunately very serious, I got the idea to create a section here where we can all maybe have a bit of a laugh and also unwind a little once in a while.

I've been around for quite a few days now and also experienced the time of the "Ebay Magazin" (I mean from 2007 to 2009) and I also had a subscription back then.

I always especially looked forward to the last page, which looked like this....

...wouldn't a section like that be something for here too, because there are always some very funny messages or reviews that could be shared here, or would that not be appropriate ?

@gebraucht-ist-gut ,I was thinking maybe more like a kind of pinboard, where everyone just posts something funny related to eBay (funny listings, messages, reviews) something like that for example....

Sell one of these for the next camping vacation

That would be something to wind down with, right?

But that’s not clearly eBay. Then rather....

No, I think that’s more the café’s job.

I already put my foot in it before,

because I livened up the discussions with little pictures,

in my opinion. 😆

And I got pretty heavily attacked for it, to put it quite bluntly.

Users felt they weren’t being taken *seriously*.

I respect that!😏

Hello @*sweet-melody* ,I actually found this offer on Ebay once🤣.

Yes, I did take a look at the cafe, but as I said, maybe more like a kind of notice board, and in the Ebay magazine it was always the absolute highlight 🤣

I also know that many people have lost their laughter and no longer communicate with each other; you can see that in the reviews too. Almost everyone is, it feels like, on their phone 15-20 hours a day but doesn't have 30 seconds to leave a review.

I just thought I'd spread a bit of fun, and if nobody wants that, then so be it 😎

The idea is good, just maybe not for the section "Suggestions and feedback".

Why not start your own thread in the eBay cafe.😊

There's plenty of room there, and apart from the two chains and the jumble of thoughts, there isn't much going on there anyway.

So: just be bold and go for it ......

Besides, as they say: competition keeps business lively....

I'm sure you'll soon find a grateful audience there, because who doesn't like to laugh......😉

I only see one problem with putting your idea into practice with the "pinboard"🤔

You'd have to blur the relevant usernames in every screenshot.

After all, names must not be named, according to eBay netiquette......

Do you mean something like that or another extra area that focuses "only" on eBay stuff?
