And you can’t delete it anyway, only archive it.

·1 week agoYes, with the browser data, the cache & cookies are deleted too.
The cache is a temporary buffer that parks data so your device can load it faster later. Instead of downloading data completely anew from the internet or from the hard drive every time, the system accesses these copies in a flash.
Sometimes, though, the “data junk” prevents it from continuing to work properly.

·1 week agoPress the Ctrl+Shift+Delete keys, works across browsers. There you can set everything you want to delete.
