URL will NOT be removed
I want to send a personal message and include a URL to a forum post in it. I get the error message "Please correct the highlighted errors and try again. The post was changed because invalid HTML content was found in the message text. The invalid HTML content was removed. Please check the message and send it if it meets your expectations." I am not using any HTML in my message.
a) Is invalid HTML really meant, or is HTML generally forbidden? Please correct if necessary.
b) I am not using any HTML in my message. The URL is not HTML. Is the error message caused by the URL? If so, please correct it.
c) Nothing was changed, the content of the input field is the same as before. Please do not show an error message or actually remove the unwanted content.

But it only works here in the forum, not with private messages.
Then I get the message and block that I’ve now sent enough messages (roughly speaking) and nothing works anymore, even if I hadn’t sent a single private message for days beforehand.

Yes, exactly.
I mean the private messages here in the forum, just so we're clear.
I often have the issue that when inserting a URL (nothing bad, no links to eBay competitors or anything like that), this above-mentioned error message "Correct the marked errors and try again afterwards ........." appears and then, when I click send again, I get the message that I've now sent enough messages.

I understand @sunrise1605 - do messages that contain a URL generally not go through for you?

Not always, but quite often, I'd estimate 60-80% don't go through.

That has happened to me too. Then I clicked *send*
again, and it worked.
