Where do I discuss the 'new' "community netiquette"?
Hello,
Where do I discuss the 'new' "community netiquette"?
Or questions about the forum and its procedures?
Are discussions of this kind unwanted or inappropriate?
A factual response would be appreciated.
Regards
Leo

Hello @leodercat, gladly with me. For various reasons (including data protection), we do not discuss moderation measures publicly. Feel free to send us an email to contactcommunity@ebay.com or a private message to me. Didn't you receive any information about this?

·2 years agoGood morning everyone,
@dmary56it would then also be nice and, above all, FAIR, if EVERYONE followed them/had to follow them and not just the regular members/buyers-sellers

I only wrote a fact, nothing more and nothing less...
TE wanted factual contributions....

·2 years ago@dmary56I hope you didn’t misunderstand me now, and this wasn’t meant to be criticism of your statements in any way.
I hope you know what I mean; I just can’t write it like that, because that would 1000% violate it again as well

·2 years agoHello @voli-maus before I name someone here and then end up on special leave again, I definitely won't write any names here.
If you can't even upload a seller or item number here anymore because it counts as naming and shaming, then in a thousand years I definitely won't write the name of any eBay employee or mentor here.

·2 years agoWell, @mmstore74 , uploading seller or article numbers is not desired.
When I read what some new users/writers come out with ...and that stays up....🙄
Mentors, too, have to think about their choice of words.
There have already been several “you, you” moments.
Let’s see how long the thread stays open. 🤔

·2 years agoHello @mmstore74
since I’m neither of the two (neither a mentor nor an eBay employee), I’m relieved; I was already thinking you might mean me.....🙂

1) The netiquette is to be followed and not discussed
2) For other questions about the forum, you're in the right place here....

OP2 years agoGood day!
After I asked follow-up questions here in the forum about an article deletion and, although I got no reply, did receive a comment-free warning instead, I’m no longer interested in any discussion here.
On the contrary, I have deleted my search list and watch lists for articles and sellers, and I’m now wondering whether eBay is still the right buying platform for me.
And if I may express my opinion, obedience is something that applies more to dogs, not to people.
Politeness is much more appropriate.
Kind regards

·2 years agoCan't do that @pennystocknomoney ,
the original one is closed.
And the successor is already history too.
Only a rogue would think ill of that.
