PPWR - Doesn’t apply to me. What should I do?

Hi everyone.
eBay did send a mail to sellers yesterday asking us to enter our EPR registration number.
This whole PPWR nonsense doesn’t apply to me either, luckily, since I trade in used goods and am therefore not the manufacturer of any packaging. I also do not place shipping packaging on the market for the first time.
What do I need to do now so that my listings will continue to be shown in other EU countries?

·5 minutes agoIf you are a business and ship within the EU it applies to you and you need an AR + Regisration w recyclers in EACH SEPERATE EU Country you want to ship to.

·1 week agoHi, I have the same problem. I sell used motorcycle parts and only ship in used boxes as well. I completed the free check that eBay offers.
The questions about the individual EU countries are not very clear to me.
It showed “no obligation” for me.
But it still costs €299 a year.
Since I ship to all EU countries, that will be an expensive matter.
How did you solve the problem.
At the moment I can’t sell any items to the EU.

The Packaging Act applies to all sellers who also place packaging into circulation with their products, which then ends up with end consumers in Germany. You can find more information on this topic here. If you are unsure about the legal obligations, please contact a legal advisor, as we cannot provide legal advice.
If you still believe that this regulation does not apply to you, please contact our customer service by email. Your objection will then be reviewed by our specialist department.

PS: What do you mean exactly, where did I supposedly misunderstand something?
Ebay wants me to provide my registration numbers. But I can’t do that, since I don’t have them and don’t need them.
So how can I now prevent my items from no longer being shown internationally?

·3 weeks agoNo, even a marked employee won't give you any information about another account!
We've already had this x times too, that information is only given about the account you're posting with here.
And if you're also commercial, then you really haven't understood the PPWR at all and haven't really looked into it!
It's not about whether you ship new or used goods, but about the fact that you ship at all!
The present employee may be able to make it clear to you once again that this is general information.

As you can see from my history, I've been posting here under this account for years, and that was never a problem for MA either.
Miriam will surely be able to confirm that for you, if she's still active here.

However, if you ever have specific questions or problems with your business account, it will look different, and I don't think an exception will be made for you in that case, and that has already been communicated that way by many eBay employees and by Miriam.
And again regarding your concern: I also mainly sell used goods and of course have to ship them. I don't make my packaging myself either and, like most business sellers, am affected as well.
Those who are not affected are the ones who send digital items by email, since no packaging is involved here.
