Is there a way to get a wrongly delivered item back from abroad (Austria)? Because unfortunately it’s not possible via DHL.
Has anyone got experience with this?

So the easiest thing is if your buyer opens a return saying that the item was delivered incorrectly.
If you aren't able to create a label within the return, you can make the cost of the label available to the buyer.

·3 weeks agoWrongly delivered means already delivered? Then issue the “customer” a return slip so they send it back. Or reimburse the costs for it in advance. But that doesn’t work through eBay.
Who is responsible for the misdelivery? The parcel service provider? Then contact them.
The sender? Then unfortunately you have to cover it yourself.

Yes, the item has already been delivered. Is there an option here for a return label like that? Of course we’ll cover the costs since it was our fault after all.

·3 weeks agoAbroad is unfortunately always problematic with things like this. There are certainly shipping services on the internet that you can "book," but they are not at all in proportion to the costs.
I would tell the "customer" to pay the costs in advance so they can send it back. Of course, that also requires a certain level of trust, and that doesn't work via eBay.

Arrange a return
Open eBay and log in.
Go to My eBay and select Purchases.
Find the item and select Return this item.
Give a reason for the return and submit the request.
Receive and use return label
Retrieve label: After the request, eBay provides a label (from DHL or Hermes) as a PDF to print out or as a QR code.
Without a printer: You can show the received QR code directly on your smartphone at a DHL branch or Packstation, or at a Hermes parcel shop, so that the label can be printed there
would that work too? Even if it is abroad

But let's ask an eBay employee whether it really is that simple in the end. She'll chime in here.

·3 weeks ago · EditedAs far as I know, you can’t buy such a label on Ebay. In that case, you’d have to do exactly what you originally wanted to find out - book a shipping label with a shipping provider (abroad) and then upload it, or make it available to the customer.
Just ask whether they have the option to arrange the shipping and how much the price would be. Then you can simply send him the stated amount in advance. That is probably the cheapest and easiest option.

This process, as I understand it, can only be requested by the buyer, we'll see, let's see.
