Abuse of purchase cancellations by sellers

Hello,
a seller abusively canceled a purchase from me within a few hours.
After I checked the reason the purchase was canceled, he stated "buyer requested cancellation".
This is false, as I had no contact whatsoever with the seller.
Now I would like to open a case with Ebay because the seller has obviously and demonstrably abusively canceled the sale here.
Unfortunately, I can't find the option on Ebay.
The issue is clearly regulated there.

·1 month agoYou can't open cases regarding this! What kind of case did you want to open?
The seller may have chosen this reason so that they can get away unscathed without a defect entry.
And as long as the seller doesn't keep doing that all the time, eBay doesn't care.

So Ebay doesn't care whether someone sticks to their own terms and conditions or not.
Only when you keep violating the terms and conditions do they take an interest.
The best thing about it is that Ebay has now even hidden the negative feedback - written by me - .

·3 weeks agoYes, for the most part eBay doesn’t care. It’s somehow still registered, but nothing happens, or not much.
Your rating was probably deleted because it violated the guidelines regarding word choice.

OP3 weeks agoI'm not quite that naive.
Of course, the review contained no offenses in the wording.
I'd be happy to post it here verbatim, but the review can't even be viewed anymore once Ebay hides it.
I have now filed a complaint against the supposed "violation of the principles".
However, I hardly believe that a human being will ever look at this review and reverse the violation.
The sheer number of complaints here in the forum unfortunately speaks volumes about how Ebay handles problems.
With the nonexistent service and support, you're opening the door wide to scammers.
In the end, there's no point in getting upset about it. In the future, I should think twice about using Ebay. :)
