85-inch TV return due to alleged defect, but no proof and no packaging anymore | Members help members

Hello everyone,I currently have a problematic return case with a 85-inch TV.The buyer says that the sound keeps having problems, keeps changing, or cuts out completely. However, despite repeated requests, they have not provided any clear proof such as a video. Instead, they want to return the item as defective.In addition, the buyer claims that the packaging was taken away during delivery. However, that seems questionable to me, as to my knowledge in this case they only deliver and do not take the packaging with them. Regardless, there is no packaging left at the moment.Without suitable packaging, a safe return shipment of such a large TV by freight carrier is hardly possible from my point of view.My questions about this:Do I have to accept a return as defective even though there is no real proof?How does eBay assess a case like this when there are only claims, but no photo or video of the actual defect?How does a return work for a large TV when there is no packaging left?How would you deal with the statement that Hermes supposedly took the packaging away?Thanks in advance.
