Cancellation after sale
I find it pretty unsatisfying when you buy things on Ebay at auction and then the purchase is immediately canceled because the "item is no longer in stock or damaged." Obviously, though, it’s because the desired price wasn’t achieved. Has this been happening to you more often lately too?

Mentor3 weeks agoHey, @seg82 that actually happened to me just a few days ago. However, it was canceled without any explanation, nothing was communicated, and a refund was issued to me.
I rated it accordingly in red because I find it rude and unacceptable.

Bro isn’t, so maybe Sis? ;)
I heard about the cancellation with you, but I still can’t understand it.
I couldn’t make a purchase without any explanation and I think there’s an urgent need for clarification here!
@seg82 if the purchase was canceled under the reason you mentioned, the seller at least gets a defect on their account. Unfortunately that doesn’t help you, but eBay doesn’t care about stuff like that and won’t be sanctioned further.

that does happen from time to time, that sellers think they’re especially clever and keep cancelling sales over and over.
That said, such cancellations have a direct impact on a seller’s service status, with all the associated consequences.
Aside from that, you are of course free to enforce fulfillment of a valid purchase contract outside of eBay.
