Cancellation of sale
Hello,
I sold an item and canceled the sale before the money came in. Now I’ve received a message saying the refund has been initiated. Why exactly was the money deducted from my eBay balance now, even though I haven’t even received the buyer’s money yet???

Why do you cancel legally valid and binding sales?

if you cancel a sale (for whatever reason), you have to refund the buyer for all their expenses.
Whether and which payments you have already received, you can check under Payments - All transactions.
