Cancellation of the purchase after the auction ends by the seller without the buyer's consent
Hello everyone, my last purchase was canceled by the seller in a timely manner without me having a chance to pay. How can I get in touch to receive my purchased item? How can I write a review about the seller?

Mentor2 weeks agoHello @beggit that’s really annoying, you can also report the seller to eBay.

However, since you hadn’t paid yet, it’s questionable whether you can leave feedback; that’s beyond my knowledge.
In general, you would only have a claim to the item once payment had been made, but eBay doesn’t help you take possession of the item; you’d have to enforce that yourself then, if necessary with legal help.

Mentor2 weeks agoYou can see the seller's ebay name once you’ve placed a bid. Then you can also contact the seller through that if they haven’t turned off the receiving messages function.
There are 3 reasons a seller can give for canceling.
Buyer asked for cancellation = no feedback possible
Something is wrong with the address or something like that = no feedback possible
The item is defective or got lost or something like that = feedback possible

OP2 weeks agoHello Sally, option 3 was used: "Item out of stock or damaged". Unfortunately, when I want to look at the details of the cancellation, I get a message saying "Data error". But I was able to write a message to the seller there. Let's see how he reacts. Thanks for the tip.

Mentor2 weeks agoIf it happens to be a commercial seller, you have to wait 7 days before you can leave a negative review.
With a private seller, it should actually work right away. But you have 60 days anyway and can keep trying again and again.
