Settlement of the credit balance through account deletion

Question

I have tried again and again to get my credit from ebay.

I don't have Googlepay or Applepay,

The bank account I provided is not being used.

Now I've closed the ebay account to force a refund?

Will that work?

@kriki4 what does “My specified bank account details are not being used.” actually mean? does the account no longer exist, or is the payout being rejected by eBay?

Hello @kriki4 @perfect-sally is right, you can’t have an account with a balance deleted. Please try setting the payout to scheduled payout. Then it should actually work. Best regards Samantha

If your bank account is verified, your balance should be paid out at some point too. And as far as I know, you can't delete your eBay account if there's still money on it.

An eBay employee can say more about that; she'll chime in here.
