Current issue with package tracking??
Summary: petersmodellbahnstuebchen reported a problem with tracking for orders with partial refunds on eBay, where the manually entered tracking number did not provide any information. However, the problem resolved itself, but petersmodellbahnstuebchen could not mark the post as solved. perfect-sally successfully tested marking it as solved. The participants exchanged humorous comments about the technical quirk and the marking system.
Hey everyone,
I noticed today that with orders with partial refunds, I can no longer store the tracking number correctly, e.g. here:
For the lower order, the tracking number (underlined here) was automatically stored by eBay; for the upper item, I entered the same tracking number (not underlined here) manually.
Problem: When I click the tracking number, I only get shipping status info for the lower item.
Same problem with the following orders:

Does anyone else have the same problem?
How does this affect things systemically, e.g. shipped too late?

Update (12:30): This has since been updated and is therefore resolved.

Mentor1 week agoHi, hi Peter, yes the topic starter can no longer mark the solution. That's apparently how it's supposed to be. I couldn't do it in your case either. For whatever reason.
In the sense of helpful for others it isn't actually a solution anyway. So marking the post as solved wouldn't make sense to me either.

Hi Peter,
I still had marking it as the solution in the back of my mind and thought it was a good opportunity to test that out at your request 😏 So the test was successfully completed.
But @meinehexe11 is also right, it’s not really a solution. But since I often do things that make no sense.....😂
One less thread to keep an eye on and it gets a bit more manageable.
