Find and delete old parcel locker
Summary: felixfindig reported a problem where an old Packstation address is displayed for orders, even though it can’t be found among the saved addresses. bootyooty suggested checking the delivery addresses, but the old address wasn’t there either. miriam@ebay eventually explained that eBay automatically shows the old station as a suggested pickup station for matching offers, even though it isn’t saved in the personal delivery addresses. felixfindig was relieved to get an explanation, but noted that this is suboptimal, since items could get lost if they’re delivered to a station far away. miriam@ebay recommended setting a pickup station closer by to minimize the risk.
Hello, I keep getting shown an old Packstation address when placing an order. I don't need it anymore. But I can't find this address anywhere. Under addresses, my private one and the new Packstation are listed. No sign of the old one.
Where could it still be stored?

Hello @felixfindig , I've now been able to clarify what you're seeing here: the displayed pickup station is not an old delivery address saved in your account. For eligible offers, eBay automatically shows the delivery to pickup station option and suggests a station. That's why you won't find it under your delivery addresses either and can't delete it there.

OP1 week agoOk, at least an explanation. It's just not ideal if you overlook this address. Then the goods end up going back unnecessarily since I’m not driving 300 km there and back.

Hello @felixfindig - just to be safe, you could use the Change button to set a pickup point that’s a little closer to your delivery address. That way, the risk of accidentally selecting the wrong station can be reduced a bit.

Hi @felixfindig and thanks for your post! To be able to check the behavior described more closely, it would be great if you could provide us with a screenshot of the page showing the old Packstation address.
Please make sure to protect your personal data here in the community. For our internal follow-up, it is enough if we can see a small clue, e.g. part of the postal number or the Packstation number.

OP1 week agoThis is the old one that keeps reappearing. The new one stands alone next to the private address in my addresses (delivery address)

Mentor1 week ago@felixfindig if I’m seeing this right... the first one isn’t a parcel locker, but a branch where you’re supposed to pick it up, so a post office branch.

OP1 week ago · EditedHello Miriam, I got an email yesterday that doesn't help me. I can't change any delivery address or other address that doesn't appear anywhere - except if I place an order. And even there, the address doesn't always appear. This post office branch is now 150km away from me and is no longer used. So where is it?

take a look under the link from @bootyooty , to see what you have stored as the preferred delivery address. Then you need to change that to the new delivery address.

OP1 week agoI thought so too, but the old one isn’t listed there. Only the new one, and that just isn’t shown when ordering.
