Another eBay user is stalking me and keeps sending me messages, it's outrageous

I’m being stalked by another eBay user. The day before yesterday he wrote to me telling me I shouldn’t use a certain term because that was wrong, etc. He said there was a cease-and-desist lawyer on eBay and that his buddy had already had to pay 750 euros. I reported the guy to eBay customer service because I feel harassed. He says he only wants to help me so I can describe and list everything correctly, and as a private seller I also supposedly have an obligation to do that, etc. - even when I told him to leave me alone for once and even took down the listing, the threats kept coming: if I block him, there are still dozens of other eBay users who would draw my attention to things like this. If I block him, plenty more would follow. He himself has zero listings and is acting here on eBay like a block warden.
How do I get rid of this guy? I describe my household items to the best of my knowledge and belief. Through the description and photos I offer transparency... the guy just won’t stop and writes in capital letters, which shows his emotional state; he’s almost beside himself: "...what don’t you understand about what I’m writing..." along the lines of: are you stupid? - please help me. Maybe an eBay employee will read this too and put a stop to it. Thanks in advance

put the user on your bidder block list.
Since you’ve already replied to him, he can still keep messaging you.
Just don’t reply to him anymore.
If a “new” user comes along, put them straight on the block list and please don’t reply.

It can certainly also be determined whether he may have multiple accounts and whether he can be linked to other accounts.
Of course, those are internal details that must not be shared here. 😉

OP2 months agohey, the guy only signed up in February 2026 and hasn’t posted any listings himself. I don’t know anything else. I also wouldn’t know what else I could find out about him. anyway, he’s blocked and eBay has been informed, thanks for your help

I think he has zero clue about ebay ☺️ because any logged-in user can see the item, and even people who aren’t logged in can look on ebay.
There’s also no way to exclude someone from viewing it, seems like a pretty empty 🌰. 😉
Unfortunately, the function "do not allow blocked bidders to contact me" doesn’t work if you’ve already been in contact.
